Skyliners will be having our trail ride on February 24th to Jetty Lake. Meet at the Jetty Lake Store at 9:30 A.M. Lunch will be a pot luck stew - if you want it in, bring it and put it in!
Our report follows:Hi everyone!
We had our meeting on the 5th of February and we have a lot of fun things lined up for the Convention. First of all, M4X4A Convention will be held in Polson on April 20th and 21st, 2002 in the newly remodeled VFW Hall on Main Street. April 19th in the evening the Skyliners will be there for a no host social hour and registration.
We've chosen a Tropical Luau theme this year, so bring your coconuts, grass skirts ( guys, no lawn mowers or weed eaters! ) flowered shirts, and cutoffs. Best costume contest is in store.
Convention is $16.00 per person, 12 and under are free with an adult.
Saturday and Sunday morning will be a continental breakfast.
Some fun things we are planning are a photo booth in tropical style, remote control car race, door prizes, and a Kodak Memory Moment. Take your most memorable pictures, place them on a large standard poster board and make it up any way you like with captions or just names, places, and dates. We would like to have a prize for the best of show. Think hard and do it up great!
We are hoping to see a lot of you at Convention. Any questions call Janet Munn 883-3446 or Mickie Ross 676-3268 in the evenings.
We did find some time to go on a trail ride the end of January. It was great! Did some snow trailing, got stuck and pulled eachother out. Then had HOT soup, cider, and cocoa for warmer-uppers. It was a great day and the little ones enjoyed the sled rides and just plain fun in the snow.
Happy birthday in February to Sarah and Rachel Munn, and Flick Reibe.
So, ride the waves to Polson in April.
See you next time. Mickie, RVP
