The Big Sky 4-Wheelers completed another successful SnowBash event on Blacktail Mountain.
This event is a fund raiser used for ongoing trail maintenance, to keep the oldest Adopt-a-trail in the country maintained. This trail is also a BF Goodrich Outstanding a Trail and a Jeep Badge of Honor trail.
111 registered vehicles and drivers, along with 124 passengers embarked upon an adventure up over and around Blacktail mountain.
Weather conditions this year were a balmy 12-20 degF, a significant improvement over last year's -34F. The weather also cooperated with a good amount of snow - enough to keep it interesting and making getting stuck possible, but also not so much that the summit could not be reached.
Even a late cancellation by the Red Lion, past host of the vent, was overcome by the great response of the Hilton.
