NEW OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE CLUB TO FORM IN LINCOLN

Body

On Thursday, September 1, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. a meeting will be held at the Lincoln Community Hall in Lincoln, Montana to form a new off-highway vehicle club. The meeting will be facilitated by the Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association, which is comprised of local OHV clubs from communities all across the state.

All ATV, off-highway motorcyclists, and 4x4 enthusiasts interested in working on providing great trails for the future are invited to come to the meeting and are asked to bring others.

The purpose of the club will be to promote responsible OHV recreation in the Helena National Forest and to work toward establishing a fun and sustainable trail system for OHV recreation in the Blackfoot Valley and surrounding areas. The club will also represent OHV riders in the upcoming travel plan for the Helena National Forest

Possible future club activities could include trail maintenance projects, trail clearing, trail rides, adopt-a-trail projects, and educational programs.
